Too many buttons, bells and options

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this brand and model because it was stackable and I couldn't find a stackable set that was simplistic. It has waaay more options than I will ever bother to figure out. The simplest machines were not stackable or I would have gotten something much more user friendly. I don't change water temp., I pretty much use the same quick cycle EVERY load....all that other stuff is just more "stuff" to short out, malfunction, break. It washes fine..so it does the job...but manufacturers are trying to tap into the tech savvy generations that might be impressed...I'm not. The dials and key pads are super sensitive. My laundry area is sort of tight, if I accidentally bump into the machine, I could easily push a button that I didn't mean to and foul up the whole load. I want my computers and ovens to be savvy, but not my washing machine. I suppose there's not enough money to be made for the market/product I'm suggesting.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
