Mold! Mold! and more Mold!

We purchased this washer less than a year ago and while it does have some awesome features (delayed wash, pre-soak, and FanFresh) the mold is absolutely disgusting. We have used the recommended affresh products faithfully, but despite doing so continue to have an awful issue with mold inside the soap chamber.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor Design and Awful Product

This was a gift for my son and daughter-in-law. Nothing but problems in the 3 years of use. Poor design on water drainage. Have had to service the washer 4 times because of poor design that does not allow water to drain if there is so much as a spec of fuzz in the drain area. Also, due to the way the door and the tub fit is designed, small pieces of clothing such as t-shirt ends, child pajama pants, bib ends, etc. get caught in the edge between the drum and the door. When this happens, the fabric is twisted and torn. Poor, poor design. Will never buy another Whirlpool product as long as I live. Too bad, a great product years ago has turned into junk.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this item about a month ago and it has performed well. The only thing I can say negative is that it is quite noisy. Hopefully this is normal for this unit and I don't have a major problem in the works.

Faulty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this over a month ago and could not use it until a week ago. The water regulator was off, washing everything in Hot Hot water. Parts could not be found because the washer was new...............hhmmm. I know that things happen but the delay in fixing those things is what I find unacceptable. I replaced my old whirlpool, which was still working, the dryer had broken and I wanted a matched set so I get a new washer too, and get one that doesn't work.

Great machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We picked this up about a month ago and it is a great machine. Quiet and efficient. Cleans great- even takes out the various stains from a 4 yr olds clothes. Also a great energy saver and has an Eco boost setting. Very happy we went with this brand and model.

Terrible

We purchased this washer exactly one year ago last month. Small items (baby socks, cloths etc) alsways get stuck in the gap of the liner between the tub and the glass. As a result, when the washer is on spin cycle the liner rubs with the clothing! This has resulted in ruined clothes and now we have to purchase and pay for a new liner as the washer is just over the warranty period. I HATE this washer.
