1. Vibration is excessive even after modification to our floor2. Eats socks, belts, etc.3. It smells after only two months of moderate use.4. All attempts to add an item after the door closes result in a "code"

My Second whirlpool washer in the last 13 years. The first lasted 9 years of large use during which I only had to replace the water valves a couple of times, until the tub bearing locked up. Because I had good use, I chose to replace the unit with another Whirlpool. Bad choice. After 2 years the drum seal broke and then a month later the water valve failed and now the control card blew up. All within three years of purchase. Not worth the money.

As a paraplegic, fighting to get the clothes out of the washer is a thing of the past. This washer has all the features I need, and more. It doesn't vibrate like most other front load washers, never get's that sour smell, and gets my clothes cleaner than ever. Even my sweaters and gentle clothing are never out of shape when I pull them from the washer. One of the features I really like on this washer is the EcoBoost. The Tumble Fresh is a great feature when you know you won't be able to get your clothes out of the washer right away. I've used the Delay Start on several occasions so when laundry needs to be done, but so do errands I can do both and not worry about my clothes getting moldy. If you are looking for a front load washer, I would recommend this one. I love it, and you would too!

Great washer - just one BIG issue.

I love my washer! I do wish I would have gotten the larger size, but that's my own fault. The one issue that I continually have with every load though.... it eats socks and undies. Every load leaves at least 1-4 items caught up in the rubber stripping along the door. It's extremely frustrating because I have to rewash those items and my socks get all mixed up.I think some more thought into the design of the door and the rubber stripping could resolve this issue. Thanks!Allyson Maxey

The one bad thing about this washer is that small items. like individual socks, tend to get stuck inside the rubber lining near the door. When this happens the stuck item does not get rinsed and stays soapy.
