Nice big box. But the cheaply imported electronics that make your fridge go black and quit working are not of good quality. Typical modern appliance. Made to break

Faulty Ice maker

Bought this model April 2022 and the ice maker has been out of service more than in service. Thought we were doing the right thing buying it from a local dealer instead of a big box store. Wrong. All they want to do is keep sending someone to the house and the problem NEVER gets resolved. It must be a manufacturing problem. Very very disappointing. I don’t even want it anymore. It is not a quality product!!!!! BEWARE!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the style and function of this refrigerator!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had to replace our refrigerator which was only 7 years old, but had multiple problems including not getting cold enough anymore. This time we wanted to buy an American product that would last. First, this refrigerator caught our eye because it is so beautiful! It sounds silly, but it is. There was a lot of attention to detail when they designed it. There is so much to say as far as great features, but I will try to cover all the things that I like about it. The ends of the handles have dimensional red inserts, elevating its style. Everyone comments on them! The inside has many little overhead lights, making it easy to see what's inside and adds glam. Also, the interior is gray, not white. This little detail seems to make everything look cleaner and crisper. The shelves are adjustable and organized in a way that I can fit more into it than my previous frig. I love that I can get a large amount of ice out of the dispenser because it's in the door and easy to get to. Inside the top interior, there is a little compartment that slides on both sides for easy access. We put deli meat and cheese there. Furthermore, even though it was not a counter-depth size, its profile is very slim. and it looks counter-depth and more custom. It gives us just that little bit of room that makes our kitchen seem larger. The freezer is also well-designed. It has a special spot for frozen pizzas! It also has two shallow drawers that pull out over the top of the deep freezer drawer making organization a breeze. The water dispenser has a separate feature that pours a desired amount of ounces. Of course, you can have ice cubes or chips of ice. A tiny negative, I wish the drink dispenser had a perforated catch pan for overflow of water. There is always just a little bit of water there.

Disappointing fridge

We purchased this refrigerator 3 years ago when we moved into our new home. We had already purchased an entire suite of Kitchenaid appliances including the oven, microwave, cooktop, and dishwasher. The refrigerator looked perfect on paper and in person. Unfortunately for us we got a lemon. We’ve had the Icemaker go out twice, the freezer go out twice, and finally the motherboard went out last week, all in a 3 year time period. We were obviously hoping for better as we’ve purchased several kitchenaid products in the past but after our replacing our dishwasher and now this, we’re rethinking our choices.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Would NOT recommend. I've had problems with just about every component of this fridge from cooling to electrical issues. Save your money and go with a different brand or model.

Fridge looks very nice but the self close doors are already wearing out. Also sometimes the ice maker drips for some reason only sometimes.
