Horrible

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator is only 4 years old and it sasnt worked for 5 weeks! 4 technicians later and my home warranty won’t repair it because they say it’s not normal wear and tear. Their technician said it’s the compressor, which is still under warranty. Whirlpool technician says it not the compressor. Meanwhile I guess I’ll have to buy a new refrigerator
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

No Ice/Water

I have only had it a few months and the ice maker stopped making ice as well as the water dispenser stopped dispensing water.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great and Versatile Fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought complete set of new Kitchen Aide for a kitchen remodel that was just completed. Love all the features especially the deli and produce drawers. Only drawl back is the thickness of the upper doors which makes it difficult to open the left side (because of ice maker in the door to access item in the left side of the fridge. Just need to remember to open both doors because of using in a smaller kitchen with a tigh fit in the space next to a wall and a counter.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Run away from this refrigerator as fast as you can

We bought this refrigerator in 2016 when we built or new house along with a double oven, two dishwashers another fridge and a very large stove top! This refrigerator has been nothing but problems.
1. The ice maker stopped working.
2. The fridge has stopped cooling twice
3. The freezer has stopped freezing once
4. And now it says the door is open and all the lights won’t turn off on the front panel and the water and ice don’t work again. And also the lights won’t come on inside.
This fridge is nothing but junk! Stay away especially if you’re buying a group of appliances because once this thing breaks, it’s very hard to switch brands!

Good looks but poor performance

Bought this model refrigerator and suite of appliances to match when redoing my kitchen in 2017. While I like the size, look and features, the performance has been a disaster. The compress has been problematic, the ice maker has gone out numerous times, and there is a sealant problem now as well. We've had multiple service calls and been without a refrigerator for days to weeks at a time. They are still selling this same model. Be wary--it looks pretty but performs poorly. If you do buy, get the extended warranty for sure!

Don't Buy This Refrigerator

This refrigerator looks super nice, however it is lacking in functionality. It has been a problem from the time it got plugged in. It started with the ice maker failing, had that repaired. Next was the evaporator fan in the freezer crapped out. Once that was replace, it was fine for a very short period of time. The freezer constantly freezer up around the coils and has to been defrosted with a hair dryer on a monthly basis. Plan on paying the price of the fridge plus the cost of lost food, lost time, and frustration. If you are an appliance repair person, feel free to buy this one. If you are a normal consumer, think long and a hard about going in a different direction. You can buy a cheaper brand and replace it every 3 years for 9 years and you would still come out ahead on the price. Don't Buy This One.
