Thought Kitchenaid was better than this

Bought a house with a Kitchenaid in it. Compressor sounds like a cement mixer, exterior handles constantly loosening, doors don't align. Was thinking of buying a newer model but changed my mind. BTW... all these reviews sound like same person wrote them all. Just sayin.'

Dead at 5 years

We bought a 4k dollar fridge thinking it would be high quality. We were wrong. Freezer iced up, ice maker had intermittent issues, and now the sealed system failed. To make matters worse the service company kitchen aid sent didn't bother hooking up a tool to diagnose. The repairman just said get a new fridge.

4 years it stop working

This fridge is 4 years old and it died. Fridge stop making ice, few days later It stop dispensing water and completely stop working. Only thing that works are the lights inside he fridge. Please do not spend money on this fridge.

Garbage. Leaks constantly

This fridge came with the house I bought with my partner. At first we were excited because it's large and came with an ice dispenser. Had to turn off the ice dispenser immediately as it leaked. The ice in the freezer accumulates, and I have to hack it away about once a week so my food doesn't thaw. I made sure all the vents were open, I don't have too much stuff in it, and it doesn't make a difference. Water drips from the freezer constantly, and now the wood floor in my kitchen is warped. Recently went to a friend's house for brunch. She has the same fridge and it has the exact same issues we have. Do not buy this fridge!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Requires repair after only 2 or 3 weeks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After about 20 days, the compressor started running most of the time and making a loud noise (much louder than the previous 20 days). The refrigerator which is set on 27 degrees F is at 40 degrees. The freezer which is set at 0 degrees F is is at 15 degrees.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Absolute waste of money

We furnished our new home all KitchenAid appliances (double oven, stove top, range hood, dish washer and refrigerator) This refrigerator has been nothing but a nightmare. We have had sevice techs out I don't how many times when it was under warranty. Replaced ice maker, it keeps dumping water in the bottom and filling the floor with water till now it died and it was alot more than most other refrigerators. Now my wife will not even talk about another kitchenaid. So now all of stuff doesn't match. This thing should have had a recall, and no repair shop will even talk to you about fixing this particular one unless you spend almost the amount of a new one to fix it.
