ice maker is crap

We have had this machine for 5 years, except for the first 6 months, and I cannot get this ice maker to dispense ice consistently. I have had it repaired twice. It will work for a week and then stop dispensing. The ice will fill up in the ice maker bin, but WILL NOT dispense more than one piece of ice and then became completely frozen over and will not do a thing. After two days the ice in the ice maker will start to freeze together forming one big iceberg. So, over the years (during COVID I couldn't get anyone out) I have just emptied the entire bin into the sink and then waited for a new batch of ice in order to get a single cube. Yesterday, was the final straw on this machine, the bin under the ice maker broke off the door (see photo), I guess the weight of the pickle jar and ketchup bottle was too much for this little nubbin of plastic. So disappointed in this machine, and how cheaply made it is.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice design-lots of storage-but Ice maker does Not

Nice design, and plenty of storage, but the ice maker does not work and the freezer is not cold enough. Took Delivery on Friday 5/5/23. Went through the new installation process, removed the tape from drawers and shelves, and installed the air and water filters. Hooked up water line and ran three gallons plus of water through the system.
The water sprays erratically like it has air in the system instead of a steady stream. After 8 hours I only got one tray of ice. Read through the manual and online and it said to wait 24 hours for the system to start producing ice regularly and 72 hours for a full bucket. Today is Monday, 5/8 and it has only produced 3 trays worth of ice so far. way short of a full bucket. I tried unplugging it for 15 minutes to reset the fridge. Still no further ice production. Additionally, the freezer does not seem to be cold enough to keep foods frozen. Ice cream is soft and I also put a loaf of bread in the freezer to keep it longer when not needed, it is also not frozen, just cold. other items have almost thawed. Double-checked all temperature settings and features. Nothing changes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
