My kitchenmaid perfect for storage!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Kitchenmaid is perfect for storing tall bottles and vegetables and fruit plus the two pullout deli drawers offer versatility. The lighting is fantastic plus its so quiet. Just easy to find what I need and store what I dont need.

Freezer does not hold constant temperature

Looks bigger than what it is.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second kitchen aide product. The dishwasher I have is a work horse with zero incidence. The dishwasher and now the fridge came highly recommended by several venders and repair technicians.
I purchased the fridge hoping to get the same durability and workmanship and service.,
The temp is even throughout the fridge from front to back and the controls are easily accessible and easy to navigate.
There are a few things though.
The Water dispenser is louder than my previous models I’ve had. The capability to have preset measuring on the water is a plus feature. The ice is the smallest in size than I’ve ever had.
I am currently not using two of the shelves provided because they would divide the fridge up into very small compartments, one would never get the ketchup bottle in the fridge let alone other condiments bottles and jars on the shelf's. The lit shelving is a great idea but it would be well lit with out the feature.
The right door storage offers a lot more room than my previous model. The left door does as well even with the ice maker in it.
The ceiling in the fridge is very low and uneven across the width of the fridge. ( May be putting the filter some how in the ice door makes more sense?)
The freezer is divided well with the three drawers. The middle drawers on the fridge offer good division and are fairly deep as well (one wide drawer vs two middle drawers may offer more space). Not sure how that would effect the aesthetics of the fridg.
Over all it runs very quite, it is a solid unit it seems to be build well. The look of the black stainless with the chrome handles is very attractive. I few tweaks and some engineering rethought this fridge would be (for us), the perfect appliance.

Great refrigerator

Looks good, doesn’t work.

Bought nov 2019 and had problems since the first year. First ice machine stopped producing ice. Started working again on its own. Then it was steady issues with the “open door” indication light even though no door was open. It would eventually stop cooling (probably it thought it was saving electricity if the door was open) Used the extended warranty to fix, and techs replaced the same two circuit boards 3 times each, still same problem occurred randomly. Then new tech came and changed all door sensors, and problem still came back. After all this, and 2.5 years later the extended warranty company is replacing the refrigerator. I’ll be hesitant to ever buy a Kitchenaid/Whirlpool product ever again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the features built solid.

If you can afford to make the jump up. Some of the features are very nice to have. Lots of nooks and crannies to store things. The fridge doors don't all have to be open to get at things. The neatest feature is that you have the right side door and still get ice and water. The 3 door did not offer this feature.
I have one complaint. The frost build-up is bad on the freezer side. Items some time look like they were in the freezer for years, and you just did the groceries a couple of days ago. On the bright side, it means that the compressor is working.
I would recommend this to a friend!
