Water lines need to be redesigned

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Less than one month of ownership, so far so good. The issue I had right off the bat was with the water dispenser making a huge loud vibration helicopter sound. It was not the filter nor air in the system. It's the water pressure from the wall being too high and making the solenoid have a hard time staying open when water is solicited at the door. The solution was to reduce the water pressure by partially shutting off the wall water valve. Another design issue is the water spout is positioned too far out and it also doesn't dispense a solid stream at any pressure, it always splatters around intermittently during a pour. I just hope this unit lasts as long as my previous Whirlpool Gold of 20 years.

freezes up constantly

I bought this 4 years ago and am looking to replace it. It constantly freezes in the top, drawer broke, and the water is slow because of the freezing. I basically run it for 2 months, then empty it, let it defrost for 2 days, and then repeat. The trim for the shelves popped off, and the handles come loose regularly
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this refrigerator without doing any market research in a hope that this will be good refrigerator because its "Kitchenaid", in few days the shelf antispill bar cameout, after a year are so the water dispenser stopped working, in another year the fridge is not cooling and collecting ice behind the drawers, now I am back in market to buy new fridge, i would recommend others not to trust brand, and buy this fridge.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Unsatisfactory product support

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Refrigerator developed a cooling malfunction in 5 months of purchase. Whirlpool did not provide repair service. Left it to me to find someone. Remains to be seen if repair parts will be provided and repair labor reimbursed. This is the second Kitchenaid product to fail less than a year.

bought two and within the first year and a half have led issues, water leaking from one and ice make inop. Warranty service provider won't even work on them because they say Kitchenaid has no fix for them. Very displeased.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
