Not sure about GOOD rating

We bought this fridge and a matching dishwasher at the same time. I loved them both. Then just a few days ago some of the LEDs in the fridge just stopped working on 2 shelves and the top and the ones mounted on the top wall. I moved around the shelves, and the 2 shelves are not lighting up in any area that I hook them to. Also, the shelves, (the retractable ones) that are not working seem to have some deterioration on the prongs you set in the hangers. I have looked at solutions but they were for when all the lights went out.
There are some pretty scarry reviews about water leaking on wires and icemakers not working or have no cooling. For the amount of money we paid for this fridge seems ridiculous. I need a solution to fix this before more damage is done, and I have to get a new one! I have a refrigerator in my LL from my first house. It is almost 35 years old and still runs like charm.

The dishwasher stopped working after five years. The repair man told me just to get a new dishwasher for the price to repair it. A few months back I did buy another Kitchenaid because it did work until it didn't. This was also before the fridge had an issue. Of course, we also have an extended warranty for 5 years on this. I am just hoping after 5 years it doesn't go bad, like my last one.

Frost in freezer

We bought this refrigerator about 2 months ago. Love the design but there is a lot of frost on the food in the freezer, especially the top drawer. I have pulled food away from the sides and back for air flow but that didn’t seem to make a difference. Being new, I can’t imagine that the seals are bad. We are careful not to leave drawers/doors open for any length of time, but to no avail!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love this refrigerator.... but hope it lasts longer than the last one we had (14 years). When our last one died, we went out and bought the exact same model. We loved it that much. It is very deep. The 2 separate drawers allow you to have separate spaces for things so they don't get "lost" in the main section. We use one for water bottles and seltzer and the other for vegetables. Also love that the freezer allows good access and visibility in that it has 2 pull out drawers and the main (bottom) section has separators. Would get 5 stars if it lasted longer.

Good fridge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this fridge earlier this year and it is been a good fridge but has some quirks. The drawer that you can select what storage you are using ex deli/cheese or thaw etc. can change with just a minor touch. So often I find that my Deli/cheese temp is showing as thaw. The bottom freezer seems to have ice crystals all the time on the dip two drawers of the freezer. I love the auto water dispenser where you can select the ounces you want. The interior of the fridge is much smaller than our Kenmore that we had previously. For the price paid we would have expected much more room that what we have.

The drawers are handy to separate items. I absolutely love the freezer. Usually in these style I loose items at the bottom. But the 3 drawer system is amazing! I can keep it organized and know where things are!!
