Great looking Fingerprint Resistant Stainless

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great looking Fingerprint Resistant Stainless Steel. There are many features. For example, the water dispenser has a measurement button. You select the number of ounces to be dispensed. Want a cup or two? There is no need to get the measuring cup.

Problematic!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this refrigerator last year. Was replaced due to issues with condensation on interior ceiling. Was replaced with new one which had door alignment problem. And now dealing with water dispenser issues. Good thing I bought extended warranty. Will not recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this fridge roughly a month ago, after having to place the order and wait a month prior. Overall delivery and set up was great however I soon notice that the ice maker was not functioning. After a service request it was determined a new unit and well.. that was over about a month ago. Making ice the old school way isn’t a major issue however I feel I should also mention that I purchased the three door version of this exact unit about a year and half ago (had to move, couldn’t take appliances) and this 5-door version as a few other flaws. First being the water dispenser, it splashes all over. I haven’t been ample to ask about this yet as I’m still waiting on the ice maker, but the other version certainly did not splash everywhere. Additionally on the older version the LED screen told you how many cups, oz, etc, you were dispensing as you were getting water however this one does not do that. It does still have the same measure feature where you can tell it to dispense exactly 1 cup of water, and I love that, but sometimes I’d just really like to know how much water I’m putting into a bottle and drinking throughout the day. Finally, more of an annoyance, this fridge occasionally sounds like a tinny doorbell is rung on the inside. It’s not super consistent but a few times an hour usually a little ding can be heard. I doubt anything can be done about this, but it was not an issue I had previously with the lesser model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great features with room for improvement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this 2 months ago after scratching the front of 15 yr+ existing Kenmore Elite frig and moving it into laundry room. Love the design and having 2 drawers over 1 and interior lighting. Outside drink controls are easy to see and operate. Only 2 reasons why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. Doors are 4 inches thick with hinges on the edge of the frig rather than recessed a few inches causing the door to swing out rather than pivot in place like the previous frig. Having one side located next to a wall only allows the door to open 50% and per the picture, it must stick out into the entry way in order to use open the door. We really like the KitchenAide door handles but they only add to extension into the entry.
We really like the location of the icemaker (not in the bottom freezer drawer as some others) but it has very small capacity and slow to fill. Any group having above normal ice needs will empty the reservoir which is VERY slow to fill. Once emptied, the ice container will not refill overnight as previous frig. Other than those items, we are pleased
