Nothing but problems

So many issues I don't know where to begin.
We have had nothing but problems since we bought this fridge. It started with small pools of water appearing beneath the unit. The second repairman we were referred (first guy had no idea) told us it's a known problem with the auto-defrost reservoir tube getting blocked.
Next thing, the lights in the freezer stopped working. Then the control on the left drawer stopped working (seems to be a common issue based on feedback here).
We persevered through all of this, but now the ice buildup is back and it's blocking the freezer door from closing completely. About 60 days ago, I used a hairdryer to manually defrost the freezer to the point that the door closes tight, but the buildup has come back. It's not something I want to do every 60 days, nor do I want to pay to have a service guy come.
This morning's issue takes the cake. If you use the water dispenser, nothing comes out. Until about a minute later when water comes streaming out onto the floor!
Stay away. There are so many design issues with this fridge.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Our Kitchen Aid was delivered Friday, May 9th and I just cannot say enough good things about it! Everything from the ice maker, additional two drawers, to the produce preserver has made our family so happy! Our old refrigerator could not be repaired but when it was new there is know comparison with this Kitchen Aid!

I love the space....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been a couple months now and I still love all the different spaces this fridge has. That way not everything is piled on top of each other and you forget what’s on the bottom. Ice maker makes plenty of ice which I use a lot! Only once so far I had to pick up an extra bag of ice because I had 7 people over.

Nice replacement for previous KitchenAid Refrigera

Very disappointed in durability of a product priced so high that needed replaced that soon! Have two other refrigerators much older still going strong! Purchased KitchenAid to blend with other appliances throughout kitchen. Still disappointed in KitchenAid quality!!
