Very disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this at the end if February and was told since we have RO water we didn’t have to use the filter that it came with a plug you could use to bypass the use of the filter. Well it doesn’t. Your cheaper models do but this one doesn’t?? In my maytag we had the option. Very poor design. It also is louder than my 10 year old maytag that btw works great. Only reason we updated was I wanted to have black stainless and I was raised that KitchenAid was the best. I feel it was a mistake.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great features and ton of storage space!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this fridge about two months ago along with every appliance for our new house. This is by far the best thing out of all of them we brought. The look of it finishes off the kitchen well and the features are great. The inside has a ton of storage space and with the way they have designed the inside it lets you get the most out of it. The settings and options for the water and ice dispenser on the outside of the door are great. I can’t count how many times day we use the ice and water dispenser and it’s held up great so far. We also love that it can accurately measure out how much water it dispenses at a time for cooking and what not. Great purchase!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Piece of junk!

Bought this refrigerator 3 years ago along with microwave oven and dishwasher and have had nothing but problems!! Had to have repair man out several times. All the mother boards had to be replaced. Just recently the ice maker quit working....again! Retailer where we bought it was kind enough to finally replace it with a brand new one. New one was delivered and installed. Woke up the next day to all the food in the refrigerator warm and the freezer was not cold at all. Can hear it running but will not cool down at all. Stays at 65 degrees inside the fridge. Brand new and does not work right out of the box!! This one is going back and we are replacing it with another brand. Will never purchase kitchenaid products again. Buyer beware!!!

Not worth the money

We had this refrigerator in our house when we built the house. It was part of the top appliance package. Within the first year it had issues making ice and we found out it was a damaged liner. Kitchenaid replaced the first one. The next one is having similar issues about no longer under warranty. Kitchenaid told the repairman we wi need to pay. We have already paid for some parts that did not fix the problem. Now they suspect a damaged liner. Same issue as the first one. Kitchenaid is a joke.

Rust in ice maker parts

When we remodeled our kitchen, we bought all Kitchenaide appliances. We have had trouble with every one. Latest on my refrigerator, which the extended warranty will be up in June, is the parts of the ice maker mechanisms are all rusted. I’m disgusted. I expect much better quality from trim the brand i purchased. Never will i buy another kitchenaide product

Awesome Fridge!

This is a great refrigerator! The 5 door front looks great and is a totally unique look in my kitchen. The convenience of grabbing veggies or meats and cheese without having to open the door is great. The measured water dispenser is super convenience, just wish I could program a standard pour that is more than 1 cup without having to set it each time. One for each of the Units would also be great. The ice in the fridge door is also great and works like a champ.
The three drawers in the freezer is super convenient and provide enough storage for a large family. On the downside, food in the top drawer in the freezer stays "frosty" even after the defrost cycles.
The soft close drawers on the crisper and frpnt drawers are really convenient and innovative.
In summary, this fridge combines great styling and innovative features. It truly makes a stunning addition to my kitchen.

What an Awesome Refrigerator !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this fridge a week ago and so happy with it there is so much shelf and drawer storage in the fridge. The freezer has 3 drawers and there are 2 other fridge drawers above the freezer compartment one is temperature controlled for meats/seafood, cold cuts, thawing, marinading the other is for produce. The ice maker is noiseless had to look to make sure it was working. I did have to purchase stainless steel wipes to make it smudge proof because it is not smudge proof.
I would recommend this to a friend!
