Nothing but service repairs

Beautiful and functional refrigerator if it would work. Unfortunately, we purchased this refrigerator for our new home, and it has given us nothing but grief. This is not my first Kitchen Aid refrigerator, but it is the only refrigerator that has been lemon. It constantly makes a loud noise, has been serviced many times and needs another service. The ice maker constantly stops working, it is not freezing and not cooling for safe temperatures. We have an extended warranty so we just keep getting thrown back to new technicians whom have to determine if it is a lemon. Our food is stocked due to COVID19, and now we need an outside technician in and could possibly lose our food...unacceptable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Freezer door doesn’t shut

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a replacement for another new model I had for 8 months before it quit working. After 9 yes 9 weeks waiting on it to be repaired and finally declared I fixable I got this one. The inside is not as well organized but I will get used to it. Tomorrow I will call and tell them the freezer door does not close securely and frost builds up in the freezer. I had kitchen aid products for 20 years with no problems so am disappointed with these products but especially with the 9 weeks without a refrigerator. We could not have survived on the ice chests we used if we had a large family. Also my kitchen aide oven I brought a little later also needed a repair but works great now
