DO NOT BUY

We put in a full kitchen of KitchenAid appliances in 2017- the gas range,microwave,oven and dishwasher have worked well and have no problems. The expensive refrigerator, KRMF706ESS has been a problem after about 24 months of use. We noticed that it first leaked from the ice maker on the front door, we dumped the ice and replaced. Everything seemed to work well again and then one day we came home to find water all over the hardwood floors (leaked from under the freezer & warped our floor). I then started researching and come to find out it is a common problem that the condensate drain would freeze up and prevent the water from flowing into the drain tray and thus become a sheet of ice under the freezer drawer to eventually leak under the refrigerator. I had to thaw it out for 36 hours in order to melt the ice. After this, it's been about 8 months and it just started happening again.(ongoing problem) - This is why I am now posting this review to help some unsuspecting person from purchasing a KitchenAid refrigerator - I've talked 2 people out of buying kitchenaid refrigerators and will continue to spread the word that they are overpriced junk.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Silent and works great

Nice Refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ice maker gives out small ice pieces for the crush ice which I like. One thing about the water flow, you can’t pull your glass out until the water stops flowing or it will keep running until it’s course. The door to the water/ ice closes to hard. I am going to call the service people to come check it out. The lighting inside is great! Love the LED lighting! Other than that, I love my fridge.

Kitchen Refrigerator FAIL - Service?

This refrigerator is less than a year old and it’s dead, won’t cool at all. Be prepared for what looks looks like it will be at least a couple of weeks without a refrigerator if you do purchase because it looks like you’re stuck with a problem. Kitchenaid said we would have a repairman out in a couple of days and the repair service called the next day and said they couldn’t come in a couple of days and it would be five days. Repairman finally came and said it was the compressor but they can’t fix compressors so Kitchenaid now says it will take them 3-5 days to find another repairman. Wow!
