[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All tho I haven't had it long, I already love all the extra features and how roomy it is. Actually my husband made the choice on this appliance; he calls it his meat keeper 5000. We lost our home to a fire and all my KitchenAid appliances, big and small. He said I could have a KitchenAid kitchen and we were immediately drawn to this frig. Now I have to work on replacing all the other appliances I lost, but I have a good start.

Every nook and cranny is absolutely useful and makes it easy to organize everything in the refrigerator which as everyone knows is nearly impossible to do. The draws are an excellent feature and the sliding shelves in the freezer are indispensable. One of the best purchases I have ever made.

Nothing but problems

I bought this frige against my better judgement! It looks very nice and matches my dishwasher and gas range, but that's the only thing good about this expensive piece of junk. Non stop repairs and now after less than 4 years it died-conveniently after my warranty ran out! Do not waste your money.

The kitchen aid fridge is just junk.

Had if for less than three years and circuit board keeps failing so we have to reset it by resetting the power. As an architect I would never soec this product line.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Loving it so far!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this refrigerator for almost 3 months now, and so far we're thoroughly enjoying it. It's very large and roomy inside, and the adjustability of the shelves, along with multiple drawers, give it tremendous flexibiity on how you set up your food products. The freezer compartment also has 3 drawers rather than one deep basket, so it's very easy to keep your items sorted and easily accessible.
The water and ice dispenser works well, although we still get the random hailstorm in the kitchen if we're not holding the glass in just the right spot. The doors close easily rather than bouncing back like some do, and the easy soft-close feature on the two exterior drawers, which draws them closed the last couple of inches, is great!
If I have a minor quibble, it's that the ice-maker/ice bin and water dispenser on the inside of the left upper door make the door very thick, and so limit access to that side of the refrigerator compartment - but we did know that when we bought it. Just didn't realize that it would seem so intrusive in use.
All told, I'm glad we chose this model, despite it being a bit pricey.
