Exactly as expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this now for two weeks and we're very happy with this refrigerator. It is replacing a Whirlpool Gold that we've had for 16 years. It was rock solid reliable so we decided to stay with a Whirlpool brand. I was worried about the ice in the fridge door as I'm coming from a side by side, but we've had no problems. They said that it would take a few days to make ice but it was full in about 24 hours from startup. The only learning curve we've had is on the left drawer. If you are not careful when you open it, you can accidentally switch from drinks to produce, etc. Not a big deal but I thought I'd mention it. I didn't have any problems with door alignment which was easy with the included instructions after leveling the fridge. Temperature control is pretty close to the settings. Default is 37 degrees in the fridge and I measured it at 38. The set point on the freezer defaults to 0 degrees and it measures about 3 degrees. Temperature can be adjusted but it's close enough. This is a lot quieter than our last fridge.

Love the functionality!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We fell in love with the look of the refrigerator the minute we saw it. The functionality is amazing. The two soft closing drawers are so handy to store frequently used items.
The freezer has two sliding trays and two bins that allow me to categorize food for easy retrieval. I could go on and on about this fridge....love it.

Durable, attractive, and well compartmentalized

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We decided on this refrigerator after our other one kept freezing up, temp was temperamental, the trim on door compartments was breaking off from day one and the only time I could get it to do what it was suppose to was when it was empty. . . Which was not helpful. The husband feared the KitchenAid would be too small but after getting it installed, it was actually larger and the sizing was previously an optical illusion (score!). My kids crawl up in the fridge so you know the handle had to be rugged! I love the multiple and slim-shelves in the freezer to keep my ingredient stuff readily viewable/organized and not in an annoying heap of mess. I also must note that the ice cubes are smaller which I love for putting in drink cups and whatnot.

What not to like

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this multi-door refrigerator about a week ago, and my wife has rearranged the items in the frig five times. She should be happy for a number of years. Our old frig was a KitchenAid so we know KitchenAid. Could not be happier.

I love the external drawers to get things without having to open the main doors.
Haven’t filled it up yet but should have plenty of room.

Nice fridge!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased two months ago. Really good functioning of the actual product. Am a bit disappointed in lack of space for tall items and limited door storage, due to the in-door ice maker. Would’ve preferred a larger model with NO ice and water dispenser but the only other option KA offers is 3 cubic feet smaller, so we went with this one. Still not a fan of the in-door dispenser and would LOVE it if manufacturers would recognize that some people want a large fridge without one, as they are Almost Always the first thing to break. the separate drawers for produce and meat are kinda small but serve a nice purpose for not having to open the whole fridge. Overall, since it offers two condensers for fridge and freezer portions and the other features seem quite solidly made, we are pleased with our purchase.

Beautiful fridge, nice features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this about 1 month ago. We do love the fridge, it is very gorgeous and lots of neat features. The reason I only gave 4 stars was because the water/ice dispenser has room for improvements. The water dispenser shoots further out than your cup is sitting and makes a mess if you don’t pay attention. Also, it’s inconvenient to have to manually select which mode you are wanting(ie. water vs ice). Otherwise we are happy with our purchase.
