Poor quality and poor customer service

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my refrigerator on January 2, 2019. The ice maker doesn’t work since day 1. I called the manufacturer and they sent the technician to try to fix it twice. The problem isn’t fixed. We tried to return the refrigerator to Home Depot but were told we only have 48 hours to return it. Now we are stuck. The manufacturer will send another person to try to fix it before we could return the refrigerator that costs ~ $3,000. We are very disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love the way it looks!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been in our new home for just a couple of weeks, so I am new to using this appliance. We are a family of 5, and we use gallon jugs and two-liter bottles. The only way I can see for us to store more than one or two jugs/bottles (upright) in this refrigerator is to remove at least one interior shelf or one of the door shelves. We have more condiments than will fit in the door spaces, too. it feels like everything is competing for space. We use the deli/cheese setting in one drawer to store our cheese. The "soft close" drawers are fantastic, but only the two small drawers are "soft close". I absolutely love the way this refrigerator looks, but it is going to take some work to adjust to how everything is supposed to fit. The food stays cold, and I love the ice/water dispenser! The "Measured Fill" feature is very cool! I can set it to dispense 16 oz in my water bottle and walk away!

Nightmare fromYou Know Where

After our second visit from the service repair department I read through reviews of my model and was horrified to see how many customers were having the same problems I was with icemaker and water in the door leaking and stopping of ice making, which lead to warming of freezer, and warming inside refrigerator also, and loss of food due to these problems. At this second visit I was also surprised to hear that the fixes being provided by repair were leading to temporary solutions and more service calls.
I'm shocked that there have not been recalls and why the refrigerators have not been replaced. I have since read on line that this model has stopped being produced 4 months ago!
The features of this model, are wonderful, when they work and when the refrigerator cools. I choose to replace my whole kithen with ALL TOP OF THE LINE KITCHEN AID, DOUBLE WALL OVENS , COUNTER TOP STOVE, DISHWASHER AND OF COURSE THE 5 DOOR REFRIGERATOR.
Here is a list of dates that the refrigerator has had problems just in this month alone. December 12, 14, 17 tech visit, another failure that day 17, 21, 22, 27, and again few days ago on the 8th of January.
What plan does your company have to fix these problems???? A friend just bought this same model because she saw mine when we had a party. She went home and ordered one. It arrived in her home on Dec. 29th, wish she had asked me before buying.You can reach me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
