Amazing Fridge however...

This fridge is amazing in every way however it’s huge... would love a 5 door option in counter depth.

Multiple issues

We have had this refrigerator for two years and it has been a headache! We have had service people out here on 4 different occasions because it keeps leaking from the bottom randomly. They said it was from a water pan (which by the way is at the bottom so you have you remove everything in your fridge so they can tip it to fix it.) . This was replaced and it still leaks. I am talking huge puddles where it now it has ruined the plywood under our flooring that we just redid and spend over 6 grand on! The electical also had issues where the lights we t out and a service guy had to come fix that. This was all in the first year as it was under warranty. We are now outside that warranty and we have a 4000 fridge that leaves huge puddles to come home to. I am so disappointed in this refrigerator and how they conducted business.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the look of this refrigerator!

I've owned this refrigerator for about 3 years, and was pleased with it's features and performance, until it decided to stop functioning in the middle of the night. After salvaging what food items I could (after a run to buy ice for ice chests), the frig decided to start working again. There was no power failure, as the lights on the external display never faltered, but the interior LEDs and the compressor, water and ice dispensers were simply dead. I called for service, and while waiting for the tech to arrive 3-1/2 weeks later, my haunted frig repeated it's zombie routine, only to wake up a few hours later. I unplugged it and turned off the water supply, as I didn't want to end up with a flooded house. When the tech arrived, he plugged it in, and it worked. After checking 3 circuit boards, he announced that he couldn't order parts if it wasn't malfunctioning, and that I should call in if it quit again. This, after 2 videos taken with my phone showing that it was clearly malfunctioning! Now the freezer compartment is icing up, and I suspect the unit is running constantly. I can't trust it any further than I can pick it up and throw it, so I guess a new refrigerator is in my future. Dissapointing, to say the least. It's pretty, but pretty unreliable. And why does the Whirlpool twin to this unit have TWO icemakers, while the more expensive Kitchenaid has ONE tiny icemaker?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just bought it & love it

We just bought this and it’s a beauty!
Folks complain about the ice maker capacity on this model: We use mostly stainless insulated tumblers at our house, so the ice is frozen in the tumblers all day, so we tend to use less ice. No problems with ice shortages yet. If we entertain, we buy a bag of ice just in case.
There are complaints it’s loud: we only heard a high pitched whine/whistle one time. We shut the power off to the house momentarily and when we turned it back on, the fridge was much louder. I was worried, but the high

I appreciate the sliding half shelf to accommodate higher containers like milk or a wine bottle. Genious feature!
Also, it’s very easy to find old food items that need to be thrown, as it’s well lit and a wide open, spacious fridge so finding items is easy.
We store cheese in one drawer which is great for seeing what cheese items we have and what we need to buy. We used to have half bags of shredded cheese all over in our old fridge.
I could go on & on about the features. We did get extended warranty & hope to never use it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love the finish and ease of care. Love the outside drawers! Only thing I don’t like is the lack of storage in the doors, so all your your stuff like salad dressings, juice, ketchup (condiments) and milk have to go on shelves and are HARD to see and find!
