Don't let the looks fool you

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Move along in the aisle and choose a different fridge. Challenges with the ice maker within the first couple of weeks. Multiple visits from repairmen ultimately resulting in the compressor failing, being replaced, and failing again. Makes for an attractive storage cabinet that holds any items that can be stored at room temperature. As the happiest man on Earth, I look at it like having a second pantry closet.
Whole unit needs to be replaced and I'm in a 14 business day waiting period to hear when I might get a replacement unit...and this is the "expedited" replacement service offered by KA/Whirlpool. It's also on me to call each day and get a status update on my reference number so I can spread my cheer throughout KA/Whirpool customer service team.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator was delivered to my newly renovated home set up & plugged in. It made one batch of ice and no more. We haven't moved back into the house so fridge has not been used at all. It began making a terrible noise that became progressively worse to the point of I worried it was coming apart. It has water in the freezer note I said water not ice, the water never froze. Thought I did my homework and made a good choice but boy was I wrong. Waiting for the service technician as I write this, very disappointed and frustrated. Have a 25 yr old Frigidaire purring like a kitten in the garage at this point considering putting it back in the kitchen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very satisfied overall with choice of this refrigerator. More spacious interior than previous side-by-side that fit in same space. LOVE the grey interior - really makes the food items pop and visually very clean look. Also really like the dedicated middle two drawers for quick access to lunch making deli items and fruits. The soft-close feature on exterior drawers is super cool. Ice-cube production is spot on and size is great for fitting into smaller water bottle tops. Measured water fill feature very convenient. Refrigerator itself is very quiet - only occasionally notice ice maker sound. Very pleased with this refrigerator.

Still waiting for an outcome and without a refrigerator for over a month. The green chemical leaked into my food storage area in the right draw???
These are the worst customer service I have EVER dealt with. Keep getting the run around.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this fridge in October 2016 and only started using it at the end of October upon completion of my kitchen. This morning I woke up to a puddle of water on the floor from the dispenser and all of the food in my freezer defrosting!!! Can't believe I'm dealing with this with a BRAND NEW fridge, an expensive one might my add! My old Amana fridge was 30 years old and I never had any issues! This just shows what poor quality control Kitchenaid has! I read the reviews beforehand and saw this was an issue other people mentioned but didn't think it would happen to me! Regret not listening to the reviews - get a different fridge!!!
On the upside they are sending someone to service it tomorrow - i don't think that's soon enough for all of my perishables in the freezer though :(

Although this review is entered as part of a promotion it has nothing to do with my excellent review. I was looking for a quality interior to my refrigerator. I wanted something that would stand up to use and easy to clean. I love it. It is a beautiful refrigerator to look and functions above expectations. Ice maker is great, storage is great and the whole piece just speaks quality. So very happy I took my time and found this refrigerator.
