Very spacious!

Total failure after only 6 years

Was a nice fridge after it wasnt. It started with leaking somewhere, we shut off the ice maker, then there were light issues which ended up in a total failure of the fridge....lots of food wasted and only 6 years old. Well if this is Made in US, I guess I go back to made in Korea...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nothing but problems

Disappointed!

Would like to call myself loyal Kitchen Aid user but this refrigerator has been a major disappointment. On second repair within 4 years of purchase. Both technicians (sent from Whirlpool!) have insisted its a design flaw with the external beverage center located directly above the control panel, causing the electronic panel to fry out from condensation. Whirlpool/Kitchen Aid won't do anything about it, as it has surpassed its 1 year warranty. This nearly 4k fridge needs over 1k to repair and now facing hardwood floor damage from fridge leaking due to lack of proper cooling. So upsetting.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this refrigerator a little over a year ago. We have had 5 service calls for the same problem. The last service call was by a Supervisor and even his "fix" did not alleviate the problem with the freezer door seal. The freezer builds up frost and, eventually, does not close all the way which only makes the problem worse. I'm convinced it's a lemon and will be calling Jeff Lynch to see if we can just bring it back and pick out a different fridge that matches all of the other 6 Kitchenaid appliances we bought!

Bad Experience!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this refrigerator the end of January, so we have had it less than 6 months and already had to have it worked on twice. The 1st time the ice maker quit working and then water started leaking out of the bottom onto the kitchen floor. The freezer completely frosted over and there was a layer of ice on everything. The repairman came out and defrosted the freezer drawer and said there was a problem with the seal. He worked on it and got it back to working and told us not to over load the freezer drawer. So we hardly keep anything in the freezer anymore, which is ridiculous because why did I pay this much for a refrigerator I can't even fully use.
This took care of he problem for a few weeks then we had no ice and the freezer was frosting over everything and we had nothing on the top 2 drawers and barely anything in the bottom. This week we noticed that the food didn't feel cold like it should even though the temperature reading on the door said it was 33 degrees which is too cold it was definitely not. We called the place we purchased it from and the sent out a repair man for the 2nd time. It was 59 degrees in the fridge which means all of the food in there will have to be thrown out!!! He also aid we shouldn't put too much on the selves because it won't close properly. We didn't have it stuffed full at all. In addition there is a sensor that goes off if the door is left open. He told us to unplug the fridge and leave it for 24 hours because the bottom drawers are so frosted over he can't work on it!!!!!! I am beyond frustrated at this point and I would NEVER recommend this model to anyone! I still don't have answers and now I am out hundreds of dollars in food on the holiday weekend without a refrigerator.
