Ice and water work well, and the amazing auto fill on the water is so fun! We love the look of this too and will soon be switching all appliances to match. :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received this refrigerator a week ago. Great unit, with impressive cooling capabilities. Was able to put food from our old fridge into the new one within a half hour of it being plugged it. Absolutely love the middle two drawers, we use one for cheese and the other for produce. The ice dispenser is top notch, but make sure you run through the break-in/priming procedure for both water and ICE as prescribed in the manual, otherwise it will be cloudy. The adjustable drawers are easy and the designers made excellent use of both the refrigerator and freezer space. One minor quibble I have with the refrigerator is that the water dispenser is rather noisy, as the pump is located at the top left just above the door. It's probably noisier than normal due to the measured fill dispenser (which is awesome, by the way), so I don't mind it much. The other annoyance is that the stainless steel is incredibly difficult to clean, so those with children will want to keep stainless cleaner on hand, or avoid this fridge altogether since soapy water alone will not remove fingerprints.

The freezer has 2 drawers and thep[izza storage area is great. Everything is visable and easy to access. The only problem so far was getting it through the kitchen doorway.

Little Things that Matter

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] About three months now and I decided to write my review. Of all the KitchenAid appliances I purchase, this is our least functional appliance. (KSGB900ESS range, KMBS104ESS built in microwave, KDTM404ESS dishwasher, KVWB600DBS Hood)
Somehow i get sweating in the freezer. I'll open it up one day and i'll see frozen drip marks and the item have frost on them. One time I even seen it wet inside. Yes it was fully closed.
The Ice dispenser is very sloppy. With small cups we get ice bouncing off the glass onto the floor. The dispenser is very slow, consistently having to break up the ice in the storage bin just to get ice to fall through. Even then its still very slow, like 1 cube every second. Oh, and the Ice Maker is the loudest appliance I have. Sounds like a those kids power wheel cars.
The Water tap is sloppy as well. Appears the nozzle on it needs to be replaced or adjusted. I don't like the idea that we have to adjust the cup location depending on if we are getting ice or water. It should work for either function.
Door hinges are starting to squeak. Really already?
Just a bit annoying to have to deal with little issues like this. Comparing to every fridge I have ever owned didn't have issues like this. So when I finally buy an expensive free standing, I get these little things that add up and matter.
