The double doors open up the fridge giving you plenty of storage and also a removable ice box. The freezer compartments also have the ability to hold a large amount of food and has a neat drawer system at the bottom. Excellent.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Started off a touch bumpy but KitchenAid sent someone to the rescue.
We had 3 lessons learned: Day 1: Doors didn't line up (guess what, installer didn't level the fridge); Water was a little too powerful (guess what, we had to turn down the volume in the basement); Noises (guess what, after a day they went away - probably the freon gas settling in).
KitchenAid answered the call, sent someone out 2 days later, he fixed those three things that the non-KitchenAid install team obviously wasn't trained to do.
All in all, we're super happy and hopefully the lessons learned, above, will help other future owners.
Only real concern we have is the ice production is a little on the light side but we have two kids taking ice water to school and gymnastics so it's a lot of ice that we use.
Last thing I'll mention - we were extremely concerned this would stick out too far into our kitchen (we had a counter depth previously) but it ended up looking fantastic - the doors are 5 inches thick + another little bit for the flange. This actually worked to our advantage because that 5 inches lines up really nicely with the wall - any other fridge that was thicker with smaller doors wouldn't have looked as nice, additionally, a counter depth would have needed to be pulled out to clear the wall and we would have had wasted space behind the fridge.
