[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Color was a big deal to me. We researched other black stainless and the finish was too shiney. This is a beautiful frig. We also wanted the 2 compressors because our last 2 refrigerators died due to compressor failure. Our fingers are crossed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this refrigerator for a little over a week now. Aside from the fact that it looks spectacular on all counts, it functions exactly as it should. It's super-quiet, and I don't even notice the ice dropping into the bin. The ice maker works great, lots of ice, and the window on the inside of the left door shows you exactly how much ice you have in the bin. The inside platinum color really does make the food "pop". The best way to describe that is simply that the food stands out clearer to me, and I quickly notice what's in the frig. The two upper drawers in the freezer also are helpful with organization. Things just seem to fit better in this freezer than in my GE Profile French Door that this is replacing. The temperature seems perfect. There is one issue with the door, where it just wasn't constructed properly and they put too much foam in it, making the top of the door stand at an angle where it hits the top hinge when it opens and closes. But, that's covered under warranty and KitchenAid is replacing the door. However, I will say that I think quality control should have caught this before it shipped out.
It's got a sleek modern design which compliments my kitchen. I'm very happy with this purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this a couple months ago and are very happy with it. Love the drawers in the freezer. So easy to find things. Love how well lite the top part is and the very roomy crispers. The herb station is great for little cheese sticks to grab quickly. The separate drawers work great for soda etc. so we don't have to open the top part just for one drink. It is very quite compared to our last fridge.

At this price range I expect a lot from an appliance especially with Kitchenaid. I've purchased many over the years and must say I'm disappointed.

Cons: Better phrased as things that could be better. The water dispenser panel is not as fancy as some. The freezer is a bit dark could use a bit more light. Two flip down shelves would be handy. This is me being well me ..always wanting more. We watched this fridge for over a year and we are so glad we got it. The first day we had so much fun organizing it. We had a side by side before.. So much more room now.
