[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator because it looked terrific. I loved the outside drawers and the lighting. Unfortunately though the ice maker is not a pleasant experience. It is very loud and extremely slow; it can take up to 1/2 minute to fill on large Ice tea glass. While three kids are watching, or house guests line up and wait.
Not a good ice maker at all.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator a few weeks ago to replace our 20 year old side by side KitchenAid. We love the 5 door design and the looks of this one. The quality of our produce is lasting longer. There is ample freezer space. The only recommendation to KitchenAid would be to continue to work on the design of the ice and water dispenser. You have to hold your glass in perfect alignment and height so ice doesn't end up on the floor. It takes some getting used to and shouldn't deter anyone from buying this model. This refrigerator exceeded all of our expectations.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installed June 22, worked great. Six weeks later no electronics worked. Lights do not work, water and ice do not work, total darkness. Kitchenaid Company was difficult to access on phone due to service appointment scheduling down and high call volume. After repairman came out over a week ago and ordered parts, we find out today that parts are not in stock and are backordered. The saga continues. Fortunately the cooling still works. Think again before purchasing this refrigerator right now. It was great for a few weeks while it worked. It has some great features. We'd updated and replaced a 23 year old KitchenAid Superba that still worked perfectly. Hopefully this can be back in service soon for a long life.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best looking refrigerator we have ever owned. We are still playing around on where to place our shelfs for maximum functionality. Also, on the pull back shelf tall things in the front block the view of things behind. Don't know how to change this but some of our food items tend to get buried so that we have to take out the taller items to reach those behind. We really enjoy the two pull out drawers for cheese and produce. Also the filter in the in refrigerator basket is keeping our vegetables much fresher for longer than was true with our last refrigerator. All in all this is a great product.

The ice maker is pretty small and unfortunately a bit louder than you'd hope. Not a lot of space for condiments in the doors because of the ice maker. Just takes some getting used to. Otherwise, excellent features and functionality.

Over-priced and under-engineered. Not worth it. Returned the first one as defective, working with number two now. Hopefully this one works.
