It seems to have quit when I had my first family function in my new house and turned it on Max ice and it did the opposite and made no ice

I think the best features are the two drawers that can be opened without opening the doors. Also love the large freezer space and the space designated just for pizza boxes. No issues so far and we have found it to be very quiet.

Loving my new Kitchen Aid refrigerator and freezer

The double doors open to an incredibly well lit space with multiple compartments and ice maker access. The two drawer in the middle are so useful and are well constructed for efficiency and easy access. The freezer has awesome compartments and drawers and is quite large. I love having the freezer on the bottom of the fridge. My previous fridge was a side by side and this is so much nicer. We can see everything meaning less food waste! Looks great, works great! We are very happy with the purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was delivered damaged on a hidden side. We accepted it and took a $200 credit. We were told all of the larger appliances, stoves and fridges come in damaged. We accepted it and took a $200 credit. Within a week I noticed moisture and freezing droplets on the inside of the refrigerator on the underside of the ice making compartment. I was also bothered by the fit of the doors (5 door unit). They came back and tried to make it look better, but the right front fresh food door was warped and was not flush with the left door at the top and bottom. They sent a repair man. I wanted him to try to assist me in bending the door with me. He elected to replace the door. He said the water droplets and freezing in the ceiling of the ice compartment was due to a missing seal. He ordered both parts.
The door came in and we checked for flatness on a flat granite surface. It was off 1/16". I accepted it, since mine was off 3/8". It probably happens when they foam the doors.
In 5 months, the water dispenser has stayed on 1 to 2 seconds after you start to withdraw the container you are filling. We now know to withdraw the container slightly and wait 1 to 2 seconds before removing it completely. This may be a deficiency if it eventually sticks and does not release.
There are only 2 of us, so we did not notice the deficiency of the ice maker until we had our neighbor and his wife over. We ran out of ice after 6 cocktails.
We knew the 5 drawer would not be as roomy as a side by side, but liked the looks (Only 2 of us). It is almost 1 cubic foot bigger than our old refrigerator but stores less. For a large family, this would be a problem.

Major issues go unresolved

When we call for crushed ice, then water, water floods the ice maker and overflows inside the refrigerator.
We are on service call #3 in a month. 4 Technicians have been to our home to stare at this appliance. It has been dismantled 3 times, they have replaced the control board, still having the issue.
I feel like I am living a nightmare.
