[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pretty machine never could get the refrigerator section consistently below 40 degrees, regardless of what the thermostat was set on. Repairman was unable to fully troubleshoot, and the folks at Kitchen Aid told him to buy a fancy, read expensive, special thermometer. He refused, rightfully. The LG we replaced it with worked great, and featured an interface with the owner's phone so LG tech could troubleshoot without coming out. HHGregg was great about replacing it; I'd use them again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

However, ice cubes are to small and I have found it necessary to use Bamboo Air and an Ionic Freshener & Deodorizer in order to eliminate taste of ice cubes due to interior design and air flow which was recommended by an authorized Factory Service Repairman after a call to Kitchenaid.

The outside opening drawers work perfectly for frequently accessed fruits, vegetable and cheeses. The internal drawers provide all the additional space required.
