[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this KitchenAid for about two months. Really like it compared to the last refrigerator that only lasted three years. So many good things to say, but when you open the KitchenAid the lighting is its own enjoyment. No problem accessing any food items, such as, for sandwich meats and cheeses. One good and new for me is the easy water dispenser that you can calibrate for any quantity you need for cooking or just to cool down with ice and water. We do have a slight leak with the ice maker, but we are scheduled to have a Whirlpool technician to inspect in a couple of days. I would recommend this product for anyone that likes a little industrial exterior look with the complete functionality of a dependable refrigerator.

I did a lot of research on fridges before choosing this one, and while some of the less expensive Kitchenaid refrigerators got bad reviews and I almost gave up on their line because of that, I came back to this one and I'm so glad I did. This fridge is pricey, but I guess you get what you pay for. There is plenty of room for everything, the middle drawers with the options for produce or options are so convenient, and my produce stays fresh for so much longer in this fridge than any other I have ever owned. I was initially concerned there may not be enough room in the freezer, but it has much more room that it appears and holds a lot more than my side by side ever did and is much easier to find. Overall, I love this refrigerator and am so glad we chose this one.

Water/Ice Dispenser Quality and Designis the Low Point

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator 3 months ago and I'm basically OK with it but the engineers missed on a of things considering the cost when compared to others on this level. The water dispense is messy with spray not stream. Hard to tell if in water dispense or Ice dispense mode, this is a poor design. Trays in the freezer don't roll well and hard for my wife to reach at times. Ice maker is very noisy when moving ice into bucket.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I wanted a stainless steel refrigerator with a standard width to fit the space vacated by my old refrigerator of 14 years and large enough for a family of four that eats at home regularly. This KitchenAid model offers lots of space in the refrigerator section. I am able to place a large serving platter on the refrigerator shelf because of the French door design. The freezer offers two top drawers to store frozen foods that would normally get lost in the bottom of a big drawer freezer. There is also an adjustable divider in the bottom freezer section which allows me to store wide frozen family meals that won't fit in the "frozen pizza" section of the freezer. The only complaint my family made was that they forgot where they placed certain foods in the refrigerator. Sometimes I wish the stainless steel was smudge resistant but the smudge resistant refrigerators don't shine as nicely. I love what I have.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love the room in it and the controls,the ice maker and water dispenser as well as being able to see what the temperature is in frig and freezer. They need to send a manual with it to explain all operations of it and the protective plastic on it should not be under the decorative plastic because it leaves small pieces of it all over the front unless they know of a way to get it off and explain that in a manual as well
