I’ve had my portable vacuum sealer for 5 years but bought a Maker/Sealer last year. even tho the M/S is great for large sealing jobs the portable quart sealer is the cats rear. Always ready to use, can do several bags before recharging & a joy to clean & work with.

I really like the zipper quart bags. I will say they work much better with the Handheld Fresh Saver then they do with the machine and it's adapter. Although I haven't seen a great reason for short term storage compared to a regular non vacuum bag,for a week or so storage I really recommend them.

I have bought several of these (although in many circumstances they are reusable), and I'm never disappointed. They come in very handy. In a family of 2 I am still able to buy things in quantity. I vacuum in perfect quantity for us.

Food Saver is an appropriate name. Since I began using this system 5 years ago,I have not had to throw away moldy cheese or lunch meats that have gone bad. It keeps food fresh and tasty.
