These bags are so great for opened packages of cheese, baloney hot dogs, etc, that you just take one or two out and want to keep the rest

We have been using Foodsaver products for 15 years. We are our 2 home vacuum unit after 10 years use it finally gave out. When the hand held units became available we bought 3 one for home, one for the boat and one for travel. The one we use for travel is great for keeping food fresh when we buy in bulk for our 2 month stayes in Hawaii. We use the one on the boat for freezing food for storage in the ice box, we have no frezzer on the boat, so vacuum sealing left overs is a must. The home unit we use when breaking down bulk froods into smaller meals for 2.

I use these to seal cheese/bologna/veggies to keep air out. You can open and reseal these bags numerous times with no problem. I have used them in the freezer for my fruits that I use in my shakes...they seem to work ok for that too, but not recommended by this site.

I bought this a few times and will continue to buy them. They great for items that you use and just reseal it up again. No wasting bags any more. I love them for storing walnuts and pecans, in the freezer. I take out the amount that I need and reseal the bag.
