First thing to know [which is true of ALL vacuum sealing]: don't skimp on the size. The quart bag is NOT big enough for lunch meets and cheese. Get the gallon size. You DO need to be careful putting them in the refrigerator, the flap can easily get knocked out. Incredibly convenient when using the proper size!

So convenient, inexpensive, & so easy to use. Mh only problem with the bags are the little sticker on the air hole will come off, so I take the time to tape it on good before I use it, and it holds great after that. One of your reviews from someone suggested that a little piece of take can be applied to a bag that has lost it's little sticker, after sealing it. This must be done quickly, so I get the piece of tape ready before I begin to seal the bag. It works perfectly. Maybe someone will develope a fix for this little problem. But I am very happy with these bags. Easily reuseable many times over.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The bags have about a 20% failure rate as the tab over the sealing site comes off during storage. Filling the bags to capacity is not possible because the sealing site needs to remain flat to allow the sealer to work. The regular heat seal system is by far superior to the zipper system.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I got these with my new sealer and I do like them. However, the the little plastic tab where you seal feel off in the freezer. I do wash mine and reuse them with my sealer, on the ones where the tab didn't fall off. Those that did fall off, I just put some tape over and use them like reg. bags, just fold over and take out the air. They stay sealed unlike reg. bags.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Does not re-seal!

I purchased with the intent of using for products that we open and close often-such as cheese-lunch meats-etc! They do not re-seal and air leaks in after about a day in refridge or freezer.

I LOVE these bags!!

They work great and I can resue them over and over again. I choose an item, say like raisins. Then when I replenish the bag, I just put what I bought into the bag and seal again. I have opened and re-sealed these bags many times and they seal just a great as the first time! I would definitely reccommend these to anyone who has the hand sealer. I love mine!!

None of the zipper bags that I got with my food saver will hold their vacuum for even a day, so what appears to be a convenient bag to use is just a waste of money. They should stop selling these unless they can figure out how to make the actually work..

Horrible I tried to be considerate , my trip down the Appalachian trail ruined . Very bag leaked or would hold seal for ten hours if lucky , most lost vacuum in minutes as I tended to other items. I had multiple people try , I figured I was doing something wrong, I order second batch .. same luck
