I love having a lot of these bags on hand for everyday use, in my case that is harvesting items from my garden and dehydrating them or freezing them. and items I buy in bulk stay a lot fresher in these bags.

Very effective in preserving food for extended periods. We're empty-nesters, so the chances of losing food to spoilage is much greater now. These bags help in the effort to prevent that loss.

You can remove the air from the bag but it won’t stop suctioning and when you remove the nozzle the air goes back in the bag. I chatted with a few people and what they suggested I tried before and did not work. They did not resolve the issue. The bags would be great if they worked.

It says "Refrigerator" on the box for a reason!

Don't put these bags in the freezer. There are little plastic tabs glued over the suction hole on the bags; putting them in the freezer causes the adhesive to fail, so the tabs fall off very easily. Without the tabs, the bags will not hold their seal and air can (and will) get in.
In the fridge, these work like a charm. If you want to freeze your food, though, you'll need to spring for one of the heat-sealing units and the bags that go with them. The zipper bags won't cut it.

These are for things you keep in the refrigerator. I've used mine for cheeses, meats & cut-up produce.
I love being able to open and pull out what I need then just reseal before returning to the refrigerator. The plus is that this keeps everything so much Fresher than any of the plastic bags I've used before.
I looked forward to being able to cut-up onions, bell peppers, etc. then sealing each in these bags & keeping in the refrigerator, knowing that these bags will keep my food fresh for when I need them.
FYI - These zipper bags are NOT for the freezer - use the other sealable bags for that.

I am reporting on the bag only as I have a different quantity than the 34 mentioned. The bag has been very useful and generally easy to use, especially on solids. I find that things like strawberries can be better packed by freezing them whole on a tray then vacuuming. have also found that liquids are not easy to do. The problem is the liquid is pulled into the sealer and the port gets clogged and full vacuum does not occur. I have had a small failure rate on these bags and when they do I just use them like a ZipLock. I have the 4800 series and find all liquids more difficult due to the inherent viscosities .

This product in the quart size is excellent. The gallon size is also very good. The only reason I did not give this product a five is because they are hard to find in stores.
