Have used the bags for over two years and given many of the hand sealers/bags as gifts. In past I rated them 5 star. Recently I have had several bags from multiple packages that will not hold their seal the first time they are used. I use a lot of them because I have a number of guests in homes in 2 states.

These are great for freezing individual servings. I buy in bulk and freeze individual portions - it makes it easy to defrost just what I need. I use the hand held vacuum device with these. Thanks for a great product.

While I love vacuum sealer, the zip bags have been a disappointment. I've noticed that about half the ones I've used so far (only had since December) seal fine the first time but once open and are resealed, they seem to lose their seal and slowly add air. They may be reusable once or twice but this is not what I expected....and I purchased a large supply!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
