I bought my food saver when it was offered on qvc. They said I could keep food sealed in these bags in the freezer. Now I’m reading they’re not good for the freezer. That’s why I bought this thing very.

I believe this Vacuum Zipper system is terrific. I use it primarily to seal bulk blocks of cheddar and mozzarella. It lets me keep the cheese fresh for months while I remove it to shred a little bit of it and return the vacuumed block to the fridge. The quart size is the perfect size for me, but I also purchase the gallon size for larger items (such as a couple of slices of pizza).
