I bought this for my middle school son. The bag lools really nice and the wheels are smooth. The biggest disappointment is that this is not a good school bag. It sags in the front. The sides are too weak to support the weight on the front pockets (and we only place a few pens and pencils, nothing heavy). Also the inside does not have any sleeves or support to separate school stuff like binders and books. The bag is more like a duffle bag with nice wheels. We bought instead a second bag - I'm still trying to figure out how to return the 1 week used bag. The Sierra freewheel and that works great.
Pros: Nice Looking Bag
Cons: Flimsy Like Duffle Bag
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This will become my one and only travel bag. It has enough room for a weeks worth of clothes. The inside and outside compartments keep everything organized. It is the right size for carry-on so no checked bags(and additional fees) at the airport. Really like the use of wheels rather than toting on my back.

I was looking to replace a backpack that I have used for years as a aircraft carry on. The bag was still in good shape but I've grown tired of lugging it thru airport terminals that seem to go on for ever. I was reluctant to replace the backpack as the storage was great, along with various compartments. I continued to look for a similar backpack style that rolled, but no luck.... until I came across this Samsonite rolling backpack. Roughly the same dimensions, well made and it rolls.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this wheeled backpack. This was a repeat purchase. I use it often for air travel. It fits in the overhead departments, even in the small regional jets. Due to the very heavy use, I have to replace it after several years. The zippers start unraveling. But I'm happy with how long this bag lasts.
