Dear Samsonite - I travel every week, domestic and international. Purchased this spinner backpack since (1) I love Samsonite luggage and have a lot of it, and (2) thought it would be much more convenient around airports to wheel my backpack around which can be heavy at times. What a disappointment. This dinner backpack is so hard to control as it just wants to travel in its own directions. The single pole handle is flimsy and useless at directing the bag's travel. DONT PURCHSE THIS SPINNER BACKPACK. If you want one with wheels, buy the one with 2 inline wheels, not the spinner model. Regretting this purchase. Likely it will be an ornament since Samsonite won't return nor exchange it. Wasted purchase :-(

Simply the Best

I bought one of these backpacks in 2008. It spent 2 years doing a two hour train commute, a 8,000 mile cross country motorcycle ride strapped to the backseat, and two 18 month tours in Iraq. The darn thing wont break except one of the wheels in 2016. It is the best money can buy. All the zippers and Velcro are perfect and it is still water resistant. Amazing!!!!!

I recently had shoulder surgery and as a teacher, I am constantly carrying bags. I needed something that would hold my materials, but would be on wheels, and was going to be rugged enough to withstand the demands of textbooks. I love this bag!!!

I was looking for a rolling backpack that was large enough to handle all of my nursing textbooks and then some. I found this Samsonite backpack and it is absolutely perfect. I can fit all of my textbooks in it as well as my MacBook Pro, snacks for class, a change of clothes, and so much more. It is high-quality and heavy-duty. The dimensions of the backpack are what sold me. It is 11" deep and most other comparable backpacks are usually only 8-9" deep. When I received the backpack I was pleasantly surprised that the dimensions of the bag were only one of the many pros about it. The only thing that could be better about the backpack would be a more sturdy handle. Other than that, this backpack is everything I was looking for and so much more! I would recommend it for any students that want to save their backs from the stresses of lugging around heavy textbooks.

I bought this to carry my 15” laptop, cables, keyboard, etc. It has been perfect in every way. The pockets and compartment are well thought out. Laptop fits with room on either side and is also well padded. The bag is easy to carry or roll. The backpack straps tuck neatly away when not in use. Padding is sufficient. I am a 50+ video editor and love the portability for my equipment. Easy access to all compartments and long handle for pulling on wheels. Lots of compliments. Perfect size without looking or feeing too bulky. And, it is not too heavy when packed full. So glad I found this rolling backpack. Highly recommend.

This is really a tough backpack. I completely wore out my old one between constantly being tossed into my vehicle and being picked by the extended handle when fully laden, it lasted well over 5 years. The best parts about this backpack are multiple pouches of ever size and the dual hydration holders. I especially like the small zippered pouch on top which is great for putting keys and other readily needed small items.
