I purchased this based upon the reviews by Consumer Reports as well as a good friend of mine. I am very impressed by the unit and it's performance. It is made well, is quiet and I especially like the air quality indicator on the unit and how it automatically adjusts the fan speed. Superb!

I live alone in a 1350 sq ft condo and sometimes cook indoors. The condo quickly fills up with cooking smells and would linger for several days. The 211+ Auto has done an excellent job of quickly cleaning the air. Even on normal non cooking days the condo feels fresh and clean.

Purchased the unit a month ago. Low mode is whisper quiet, medium light fan and high is noticeably on. Unit can be put on auto which runs low most of the time until the sensor picks up more air pollution, in which case it goes to high. Design is well thought put with the entire base being a return pulling in air and blowing out the top. Fan is solid, no mechanical defects, runs smooth. Unit cleans the air, has been a long time coming since an actual product is made to last and does what it is supposed to do. Cant go wrong buying this unit.

I bought this a few weeks ago and it’s awesome! I tested out the auto detection feature while spraying fabric adhesive and it turned red and turned to a higher filter setting. After years of having large, loud air purifiers, it is so nice to have this one. We will eventually be buying more for other rooms.
