I purchased the product appox a month ago. My house is dusty from pollen, gravel driveway and woodstove. Flue on the stove doesn't always work. Sometimes when I open the door, the flue will close and smoke will enter the house. I turn on the purifier and within minutes I cannot smell the smoke. And turning on the purifier prevents the smoke alarm from going off. And I can turn it on low. Very quiet.

I decided with a bad fire season ahead I should get another air filter and purchased the 211 Plus AUTO. My other Blue Air filters have knob for me to set the speed. The AUTO adjust is amazing. When we open the doors to the deck the speed increases. When we cook - about 25 feet from filter the speed increases and the odors are removed. I never even thought of increasing the fan speed on our old one to remove odors. And it is VERY quiet - just like the ones we already had. HAPPY.

I cannot say enough about this unit. It works so efficiently, and cleans the air beautifully. I used to find soot on my cleaning cloths when I cleaned counters in my kitchen and family room but now that’s all removed by my unit. I purchased one for upstairs and it is so quiet that I cannot even hear it at night when I’m sleeping. It cleans the air so well- no more allergies from my sweet pooch. I highly recommend this product!

I live in a 475 square foot apartment with an open floor plan and cathedral ceilings, so I selected this model to clean the air in the entire apartment. I was able to place it near the center of the apartment, and it does a great job of keeping my indoor air quality nice and fresh, even with a feline roommate. And I love how quiet it is. The sensor suggests that the lowest fan setting is sufficient most of the time, but I turn it up a notch when I'm cooking. At the lowest setting you can hardly tell it's on unless you place your hand right above it and feel the airflow. So I run it 24/7 except when I open the windows. Even though Blueair is a little more expensive than some other brands, I'm very glad I went with this brand and model.
