We've had our new 211 + for less than a month, but it is certainly helping!
We keep it in the living room. Our household increased from 2 people and 2 small cats to 6 people, 2 cats, and a large, very active young dog.
Quite frequently the monitor on the front will turn orange or red, so I set it on boost. After just a short while it turns blue, which means all the air is now clean and filtered out. At first,
this confused me, but I am glad of it now. Thank you Blueair for the great air improvement here!

I have this unit between the living room area and kitchen since it covers a good amount of square feet. It kicks on moderate when there are cooking smells in the kitchen and sometimes randomly when the cats are running around. So far my cats are not sitting on top of it, which I read on a previous review may be an issue. I am enjoying waking up with clearer eyes and feeling like the air quality in my home has improved.

I use to have the 211+ but then got the 211+ Auto and they are both perfect. I love how good they work and even on high, it's still quieter than any other brands that I've tried. Most important is that it works great and it doesn't release ozone. It's affordable too. Their customer service is top notch too!!

This unit is super quiet and efficient. I burned something in my kitchen and while in auto it kicked into high gear to clean the air. I also noticed I no longer sneeze daily. Overall I am very pleased with it and would recommend.

I purchased this air purifier after considering all of the potential air pollutants in my old home. I have two long hair cats, a woodshop downstairs, a wood burning fireplace and I also love cooking and opening the windows even when my spring allergies wish I didn't. My husband who gets asthma induced headaches also works mostly from home. I have the purifier placed pretty central in the main part of the house, basically between the livingroom, office, kitchen and steps that lead to the woodshop. It's surprising quiet and I love the auto feature. The purifier kicks itself onto a higher setting after activities like lighting a fire, cooking, cleaning a litter box and even when I'm sanding in the woodshop downstairs behind a door in the garage. I don't have to think about it. Originally the cost made me hesitant but for all of the things I do in my house that diminishes air quality, I feel no buyers remorse.
