We purchased the Blue Air 211+ before the holidays and are very happy with the results. Since we heat with a wood stove and have pets in the house, there are lot of dust and smoke particles that settle on everything. The Blue Air has really helped with this. Our air is cleaner and there is a LOT less dust! I'll be getting units for each bedroom next.

I bought this a month ago after having my vents cleaned. It ran on high (red light) for 24 hours, then showed blue. It runs a few times a day, usually after a door has been opened and someone comes into the house. My son no longer coughs during the night and that was the reason for our purchase. We have added a second one for the lower level of our home.

This is my second Blueair purchase. I'm an allergy sufferer and have a classic Blueair in my bedroom. I purchased the Pure 211 for my living room. The unit is a bit larger than I expected, but has a sleek modern look that is not obtrusive. The sound on the lowest setting is undetectable. I like the auto feature that adjusts the fan speed according to the room air quality.

We bought our Pure 211+ Auto about a month ago and are very pleased with it. It's quiet on the low setting, where it's been running all of the time. Tried it at max setting and it's louder, of course, but I expect that will not be needed often. Waiting for pollen season!
We bought two Blue Pure 411+ units a year and a half ago. They're been working fine and when we've opened them up to replace filters and clean them we've found they've removed quite a lot of materials. We're expecting the same quality from our 211+ Auto.

The 211 Plus has been working great and has knocked down the pollen and dust in my apartment considerably, but there has been one problem with it so I am derating the device. For such an expensive product I expect the finishing details and assembly to be perfect. I moved my 211 this morning to a new room to test it in there and found after a month one of the internal screws has backed out and caused a marginal increase in noise of the device.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We have two of the original 211 model and just bought this one. We do like the concept of the “auto” functionality of this one, although I’m not convinced that it actually works. Someone in our house burned some toast very badly and the smoke wafted into the area of this device, but the device did not automatically increase the speed of the fan.
On the lowest setting, this device is quieter than the original 211, which is great. But on any higher setting, this device emits a distracting higher-pitch sound that’s relatively annoying.
On balance, I’m ok with this product but would recommend the original 211 over this model.
