I bought 3 of these a few weeks ago and I love them. I first hear about them from Christina on Christina on the coast. I couldn’t remember the brand she said as I purchased at a later time so I emailed her and Cassie gave me the info I needed to purchase. They help so much if you have allergies. Helps keep the dust out of the air. I highly recommend the Blue Air.

Bad smell coming from the Unit

There is a bad smell coming from the unit that I can't tolerate. The fabric cover also smelled very bad. I returned it.

I've had this unit for about a month now. It's so quite I wonder if it's even working. So how do I know it does work? Easy! Sometimes when I cook, it creates a lot of dirty air that the vent doesn't catch and I see the light on my purifier turn red. When I'm done cooking and after a few moments, it's back to blue.
I also have not dusted the house since getting the purifier and I don't see any heavy dust built up or floating dust particles. This is something I saw in my last house whenever I'd have the blinds open.
In a nutshell, it's quiet and it works. Zero complaints.

Some Concerns but too Soon to Tell

We have the purifier about a week and will look to update this review after we have it a while. I have no instruments to measure how well the air is being cleaned but I'll assume for now it's doing its job. I do like the way it draws air in from all sides to filter the air.
I run the unit in my bedroom and keep the door closed so that air in the bedroom remains clean. The concern is when I enter the room, there is a strange smell that I've never experienced before. Once in the room I adjust to the smell and don't notice it while I'm in the room. I can only hope it is nothing to worry about. The 2nd item of concern is noise. When compared to another unit I own from another manufacturer, this machine is significantly noisier especially at speeds above the low setting. When set to Auto, I've never experienced the machine changing speeds - it always runs at a low speed making me question whether the auto feature actually works. I would also add that it would have been nice to have a display that shows you the speed, level of air cleanliness, and condition of the filter. You must press the button on top anywhere from 1 to 5 times to select the speed or shut it down. Not too happy about that.

I bought this about a month ago because I had previously purchased the Blue Pure 411 Auto for my bedroom and it had done WONDERS for my allergies and wanted something to provide coverage for the rest of my apartment. My apartment is an allergen magnet (with a dog and other environmental factors) and it had gotten to the point where I was needing to use my inhaler often even while cleaning most days. No more, I'm so thoroughly impressed with the Pure 211! I notice the difference in air quality and my breathing if I don't run it for a few days--and it certainly covers my living room and kitchen areas perfectly. I haven't had to use my inhaler since purchasing it. I'm noticing less dust accumulation, less dog fur accumulation, and the difference of feeling in my lungs is unbeatable. This is a great investment for the quality & the security in knowing you're buying a tested product that won't cause further environmental/health issues down the road. You seriously won't regret it.

This is my 3rd blue air. One I have had for 10 years and it’s still going strong. Both bedrooms and the living area are now covered. The latest one is quiet, unit is much lighter to transport and gets the job done as well as my others.
