The new refrigerator arrived inoperable. I was a leak in the coolant line. I was repaired within a few days, but makes me wonder if this will be a problimatic refrigerator.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quiet, Good Temp Control, Great Ice Maker

This new frig which we use in our vacation condo has been providing very good service over the past 6 months. It is quiet, provides good temp control, and the ice maker works great. Over time will check how energy efficient it is based on my utility bills.

The refrigerator makes lots of funny noises. The owner's manual says it's due to the energy saving features. I'm not a fan of the noise. Sometimes it catches me off guard and makes me wonder what's going on in the kitchen
GE makes great appliances and I thought this would be a good buy.
I've had to replace the handle and the shelf that holds the vegetable and fruit bins at the bottom of the refrigerator.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
