Like the large shelves on door

I had a GE Fridge for 20yrs that was still working but I thought I should go ahead and update with an energy star appliance to save money. I picked GE because of the years I got out of my other GE Fridge. I like the glass shelves. It makes it easier to find things plus odd shaped packages can stand without falling. That was a problem I had with my other one. It was wire shelving. I would definately buy GE appliances as I need them.

not happy with the unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] purchased 10-04-2012. unit is very noisey. just had evap fan motor replaced, that helped,but still noisey. can hear it run 40 ft. away in our bedroom at night. now the door hinge is starting to squeek. I'm thinking of asking the store to replace the unit. VERY VERY UNHAPPY.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

great buy for the cost

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the large shelves in the door as well as the roominess of the shelves in the refrigerator. Runs quietly and for the cost it comes with an ice maker which comparable models at this price do not. Excellent buy!
