[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was bought as a 2nd fridge that we keep the water and alot of the freezer items in so the main one isn't to full. It is in our laundry room and it is perfect for what we use it for. I really like having it and it meets our needs.

Good Product for the Price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had reviewed the GE website for refrigerators before we purchased this one. I like the bottom door shelf for soda cans. I like the gallon jug storage in the door. I do have to be careful that the light does not get bumped by tall items on the top shelf. I have had to rethink how I put away items as they fit differently than my previous same size refrigerator. We bought is as it was Energy Star rated. We hope to see a drop in our electric bill, too. The freezer has one uneven shelf but we have adjusted to it. It runs quietly. The men who delivered our refrig were very professional and installed it perfectly.

very noisy refridgerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] for a new appliance ,this refridgerator is very noisy andruns alot longer than our 25 year old one. this one seems to cycle more often and defrost[i think] more often than the old one. space and size is nice and very open.

I'm not entirely happy with this refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fruit and vegetable drawers are difficult to pull out, as they stick. Also, the refrigerator is loud when it cycles. A positive thing is that my electric bill has decreased since replacing my old refrigerator.

Energy Efficient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fridge is definitely energy efficient; that is the only plus that I have noticed. The freezer rack makes it impossible to put trays of ice, an ice holder, and plus food in it. The bottom drawers are very small, squeaky, and difficult to open. I have to be careful putting items on the top shelf so not to hit the light. I needed a fridge fast, so did not do my research prior to buying this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The only thing that I really don't like is the drawers; however, that is a minor detail. Overall, I am very happy with the design and I think the space is outstanding. Also very happy with the shelving in the door.

Top shelf in fridge a little cold

I had to purchase this fridge on a tight budget, so it is a basic model not packed with extra features. The top shelf in the fridge gets a little too cold and freezes things, while the lower portion of the fridge stays at a proper temperature, so I cannot turn down the setting. Maybe this is normal, my last fridge was a side by side so it was colder in the bottom. Anyway it seems like a good basic no frills refrigerator, easy to keep clean, doesn't run too often, and maintains a constant temperature. For me it was a very good deal, and I would not hesitate to recommend it for budget conscious consumers.
