I bought this appliance several months ago to replace my not so old fridge-another brand-that died. I am very pleased with its performance. I especially like the multi-layered shelf setup in the freezer and the adjustable shelves in the body of the fridge. Its noise level is about what you would expect-it sounds like a refrigerator. I would definitely recommend this model to someone who was looking for a fridge, especially one that needed to fit in a slightly small space.

Motor too loud

It runs loud and is annoying. Drawers are far to squeaky .

Energy efficient, but ...

This replaced a 40 year old brand W refrig which was still working but making funny noises. The GE refrig fits the space well, looks good, is energy efficient but the compressor noise level is much higher than the old one. It makes funny noises too but the book says that is normal. I like the wide door shelf for milk. It should have one more interior adjustable shelf. One of the 2 bottom drawers slides ok, the other sticks. Made in uSA!

My old fridge broke and I replaced it with the GE and I love it!! You can hardly hear it running, and best of all, my electric bill is a little cheaper!! : c )
