TOO Noisy + Light bulb should be Relocated, I find it in the way when placing/removing items on top shelf ,

I like the GE 18 cubc foot Top Freezer Fridge- Model GTH18GBDCC, and I have always trusted he GE brand for great workmanship and longetivity without majormechanical problems.

love the top freezer

My old fridge had a bottom freezer which I found very inconvenient. I don't understand why people like them--crawling around on the floor and tugging out storage racks was difficult for me and I am fairly agile for a 64 year old woman. This GE unit is designed well with plenty of room for everything, including space in door for a gallon of milk, and plenty of head room for bottles of wine.
It will probably use less energy, and is very quiet.

Purchased this refrigerator from the catalog as it was not a floor model. It came in the color I wanted, met dimension requirements and was more spacious than the 24 year old refrigerator it was replacing. It is somewhat noisy, but comparable to what I've been used to. That it is was made in America was a big selling point. Have only had it less than one week but I love it and the price was right!
