Not a bad investment for a heating element electric range. Evenly distributes heat around the coils, cleans well.

The truth is I’m not a fan of Electric Stoves but I don’t have a gas hookup at my house. This stove does it job well. I have no complaints.

Drip pans loose finish quickly

Overall the GE freestanding range is a good appliance. It offers the lift up top and that is much easier to clean and keep clean. The only downside of this appliance is the drip pans under the burners. It doesn't take much spillage to permanently discolor and eventually ruin the finish even with prompt cleaning. I am ordering 2 extra sets of pans so I can keep my range looking new as long as possible.
