My burners are warped

stinky oven

I've had this oven for 2 weeks, and I'm still unable to use the oven. I have washed the inside and baked it at 550 for 15+ hours. The chemical fumes smell is still so powerful that I don't Dare make my family's meals in it.

Black stove

I wanted to try a different color to match my kitchen counter and I ordered the black and disappointed because you can not keep it clean due to smears from the cleaning. Is there a product I can but specially made for black stoves to use with out all the grimes and smears that shows after cleaning?

JUST BOUGHT BEFORE HOLIDAYS AND THE ELEMENTS AND DRIP PANS ARE VERY CHEAP AND LOOK WORSE THAN MY OLD ONE THAT WAS 16 YEARS OLD.

Bottom drawer

I have a hard time opening the bottom drawer. You cannot get a grip anywhere along the front . Very poorly engineered. Go to the store and try to open the drawer before buying. Once you put some weight in the drawer forget about opening it. I grab from the side to pull it open.

The bottom drawer should easily open by placing your fingers under the front edge of the overhang at the top front of the drawer and pulling straight out. If you feel resistance, the drawer may need to be removed and repositioned, to be sure it is properly aligned with the tracks. To review details, please take a look at page 24 in the use and care guide, listed below:
When placing pans in the drawer, be sure there is a small space above the highest part of the pans you place in the drawer. This will help to prevent them from touching the bottom part of the range that forms the ceiling of the drawer, which could block the drawer from opening.

Disappointed

I purchased this product JB255DJ2CC at the first of March. It was a special order because I wanted the bisque color to match my new refrigerator. It took one month to get it. I did not see the range before buying because the appliance store only had the smooth top. I am disappointed in the small bottom drawer which is impossible to open easily as well as not very big for what I have kept in my previous range, and the bottom of the drawer is not very strong. The burners come on so hot and cool down so slowly that timing of food is very difficult and browns before it cooks. The oven work well. I did not get rid of my previous range because I was leary of appliances that are now on the market because of how poorly the quality of metals and materials. I am planning to fix up my previous range with a few new pans and bring it back into my kitchen. This range will either be sold or stored in the garage in case my wonderful 18 year old sturdy range gives up the ghost. I am sorry I even thought about getting something more updated only because of how it may look...I am an avid cook and have been all of my 55 years of marriage, but this range is driving me crazy when cooking a meal. The features are similar to my old one, but this one does not cook well and is too poorly manufactured. I tried, but it just isn't going to work for me or my husband who has the same issues as I do when he does his own cooking. Disappointed!

Good and Bad

Bought this about three months ago. The oven is fantastic. Plenty of room. Heats evenly. However, it does take more time to preheat than my previous oven. The burners do not heat evenly. One side of the pot is boiling and the other isn't. The burners themselves aren't exactly round so maybe that's the problem. The storage drawer is much larger than my previous stove and that is a plus.
I would recommend this to a friend!
