love my new stove

My ge stove seems a lot more heavy duty then my last stove. The true test well come during canning season. I really love it so far.

It has all the extras Mom wanted for her stove. She needed the heating elements to be separate and not a glass top in case she needed to can or water bath some extra vegetables or fruit.

Good stove but needs some redesigning

Obviously who ever designed this stove never used the bottom drawer as you have to pull from both sides and not the handle created within the drawer. The inside is not as large as my last one and does not have enough room to use both shelves effectively. Had to return the one originally purchased as the front large eye would not turn off. But no problems with the new one.

Surface too hot!

The front of the stove is so hot it burns to the touch when either of the front burners are used. The cause is it is black with black liners. I would suggest the stainless stove come with a stainless top, not black.

Storage drawer falls out.

The range burners work well. The oven temperature is not quite right - I have to leave things in a little longer to cook all the way through. The bottom storage drawer falls out all the time. The metal is thin and flimsy and sharp. I cut the fingers on both hands trying to lift it back into the slot that it fell out of. I wanted a Bisque color to match my GE refrigerator but the color is not the same - it is more of an off white.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
