Everything is great with the exception of the handle to open the drawer. It is too hard to get a hold of to pull out.

Features aren't as good as the older models

It works ok. But the bottom drawer is not as deep and the design of the handle is not as easy to open as our previous GE range. The indentation is not deep enough to get a good grip on it. I wish it had a louder alarm tone too. It's hard to hear if I am not in the kitchen. And there is no indicator light that tells you it reached the selected temperature. If you miss the quiet beep that sounds once when it is pre-heated you don't know when it's ready.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Replacement to the Rescue!

Our old GE (of 22 years) died on us last week. Within a week we had this one brought out and stuck right in the same slot the old one fit in with no problems.
